Should I type or handwrite the information?

It’s best to type the information so it’s clear and easy to read. If you need to handwrite the air waybill, make sure the details are legible on all copies. That way your carrier can ensure a smooth delivery.

Step 5: Fill in the billing section

This outlines who is paying the carrier freight charges. If you’re handling the payment, add your account number. If the receiver is paying, add their account number and make sure you have their permission to do this.

Finally, either you or a company representative must sign the air waybill.

Is there anything else I should include?
